Final Days

Well, the end has come. This was my last class to take before I am able to apply for my Level II credential with the State. I am so happy. These past nine weeks have had its ups and downs, but in the end, I ended on the upper side of things. I can now move onto a new chapter in my life.

Overall, I have had a wonderful experience with this technology class and utilizing all the technology resources that are and were always available to me regardless if I new it or not. I have learned how to create a blog, make a webpage, do a webquest, post/edit on to wikipedia, and much more.

Good luck to everyone in the future and I hope you accomplish all of your endeavors!

What a week

Hey everyone,

I have had a long and tiring week. I didn't get much responses from my questions posted on the Interior Design forum. Some of the comments were simply, "Good thoughts," or "Nice idea." I did however proud say that I have experienced nothing but positive feedback and I didn't see anyone display any negative digital citizenship. Although this will be one of the last blogs that I need to post for this course, I am seriously considering keeping a more serious blog about interior design going and focus my free time on interior design. I wasn't able to express all I wanted to about interior design, but having the stepping stone to do so was a wonderful experience.

Video Upload

Okay everyone, in all honesty, I didn't get a chance to go on my forum much this week because I have been sick and I was focusing on getting my video for the webquest done.

I was so nervous to do my video. Was it just me or were you too? For some reason, my video upload horizontally!!!! I don't know how to change it either. Oh well, I hope it will suffice. I am also glad that the assignment is done. Well, have a great weekend.

I am on Spring Break so I am looking forward to some time off work :-)

What a Bummer!

This week wasn't a good week for me on the Interior Design Forum. I didn't get any responses to the questions I posted. I don't know if it is because I am new on the forum or if my questions were not interesting enough. However, I am not going to let that discourage me from continuing to post questions and read others comments and questions. Overall, I am still thoroughly enjoying myself and having a wonderful time.

On the flip side, I have been taking some pictures of my house and my new project that I am working on. I am excited to continue working on some new ideas and learn more from the forums that I have been involved in. In addition, I have been working closely with my friend from college and I have been helping her with her new house with decorating ideas, colors, and furniture. I am so excited. Everything is on the up and up. Wish me luck!

I'm So Excited!

I had a great week on getting involved in a a forum and being a part of a community that appreciates Interior Design the way I do. I have learned a lot in terms of not being afraid to share ideas, get to know people, and be receptive to new ideas. When I first posted a question on the forum, I was a little apprehensive, but after receiving a few responses, I was put to ease. I had positive and supportive comments and I am thoroughly enjoying myself and having a good time being involved in this online community. I am excited to see where the forum goes next week and see how many more responses I receive!

Digital Citizenship

Hey everbody! Well I have been viewing some posts from interior design forums and I have not seen anyone display negaitve digital citizenship. Everyone seems to be genuinly happy and pleased to be a part of a forum that allows them to talk about something that is interesting to them. Everyone on the forums shares the same interest and has respect for one another. Maybe the reason why I have seen positive digital citizenship is because of the kind of forum that I have been observing. I am sure if I was into gaming and I joined a gaming forum\, I would definitlty see some negative digital citizenship going on.

What are your thoughts? Have any of you experienced negative digtal citizenship?

Something New!

I have been doing some new research on some current forums and blogs that are already designated for interior design, and I found the coolest site: http://www.designspongeonline.com/

There is all kinds of information on there and the people are super active and involved. I really want to become a part of this site. I was extremely pleased at how organized it is and how much information is shared at this site. I suggest anyone who is really into interior design to check it out. I am truely inspired after visiting this site!
